The Sugarbush
We tap our tree's with special lines to collect in a central location.
Our Smoky Lake pan
Our evaporation pan boils off the water from the sap to eventually create syrup. Tree sap contains roughly 2% sugar.
Sap flow is weather dependent
Our sap hauls often occur in the evening, after a freezing night and day of warm temperatures, helping the trees to flow.
Wood Fired
We boil the old fashioned way, with wood. It helps give that traditional smoky flavor to the syrup.
